The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani Sadriu received today with the highest state honours the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj on an official visit, on the occasion of the commencement of his mandate.
President Osmani and President Begaj afterwards held a joint meeting, addressing the media after the conclusion of the meeting.
President Osman said that they will work closely with President Bajram Begaj to advance the European path of our two states, amplify our voice everywhere around the world and stand together in defense of democracy, peace and freedom.
“This important visit continues the tradition of presidents from Albania, who commence their mandate with a visit to Kosovo as a confirmation of unreserved support for the Republic of Kosovo, as well as mutual commitment to further deepen our relations as fraternal states”, said President Osmani.
