The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received the President of the
Islamic Community of Kosovo, Mufti Naim Tërnava.
President Osmani stressed the important role that BIK plays in promoting mutual respect between different faiths and religions in the Republic of Kosovo. The President praised the good cooperation between religious communities in the promotion of the traditional values of religious coexistence.
President Osmani specifically pointed out the positive contribution of BIK in conveying messages to the citizens of Kosovo during the grave situation during the pandemic.
Mufti Tërnava congratulated President Osmani new position and offered his cooperation and support in the implementation of projects beneficial to the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
