The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a working meeting the US ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Hovenier and representatives of the embassies of the United States in the countries of the region.
The focus of the meeting was the partnership with the United States, the importance of strengthening of economic and energy cooperation, regional cooperation as well as the latest developments in the country, region and beyond.
Regarding the recent developments, President Osmani emphasized that our institutions remain fully committed to actively contributing to sustainable peace and security in the country and the region, in cooperation and coordination with our international partners.
President Osmani underlined the commitment of the institutions of the Republic to the steadfast partnership with the United States, the main ally of the country and our people. In this regard, the President emphasized the importance of the expansion of economic and security cooperation between the two countries. The strengthening of regional cooperation was also discussed at the meeting.
