The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani concluded the cycle of meetings with a number of the presidents of the region within the proceedings of the Brdo-Brijuni Summit in Slovenia, with the meeting with President of Northern Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski.
Bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries have been highly praised and at the same time the two presidents expressed commitment to the further expansion of relations, especially in the fields of trade and economic exchange, education, culture and tourism.
An announcement was made at the meeting that in the framework of interstate cooperation, a joint meeting of the Governments of Kosovo and of Northern Macedonia will be held in the near future.
President Pendarovski informed his counterpart Osmani that his country will increase its presence within KFOR troops, and supports visa liberalization, Kosovo's European path and its NATO membership.
President Osmani and President Pendarovski have opposed the idea of changing of the borders in the region, pointing out that region needs stability.
