The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani taking in consideration the legally determined time constraints set by the legislation in force as well as the legal obligations for consultations with political parties, held today a consultative meeting regarding the setting of the date of the snap elections for the Zveçan and Leposaviq Municipal Assemblies.
According to President Osmani, the CEC is ready for the organization of elections in these municipalities and the institutions will undertake all the adequate measures in order for citizens, regardless of ethnicity, to exercise their constitutional right to vote.
President Osmani will set the date of snap elections for the Zveçan and Leposaviq Municipal Assemblies within the legally prescribed time limits.
