The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani has departed for Japan where together with many other world leaders she will be attending the opening of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. She will also in the coming days hold a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of the Japanese state. Kosovo will be represented by 11 athletes at the Tokyo Olympics closely supported by President Osmani.
She congratulated the Kosovar athletes and wished that each one of them turns victorious in the respective sports disciplines.
During her stay in Tokyo President Osmani, along with other world leaders will be received by Emperor Naruhito. Ms. Osmani will also hold bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of Japan, Yoshihide Suga, Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, representatives of economic and trade organizations and other state representatives.
