The President of the Republic of Kosovo Dr. Vjosa Osmani – Sadriu has conveyed her felicitations to the Orthodox believers on the occasion of the Orthodox Easter
President Osmani said that the resurrection and hope are the main elements of this holiday, which this year is being celebrated in rather uneasy circumstances for all of us.
“Through solidarity and virtual congratulations, the faithful believers will be able to convey the message of Easter, respecting the anti-Covid measures, and wishing that the next celebration will not find us physically distant,” said President Osmani.
Furthermore, in her greeting, President Osmani emphasized that holidays like this are a manifestation of our common human values, humanism and solidarity through which every battle is won and hope is raised for the future!
“On this holiday, we must remember those who are doing their best to minimize the loss and pain caused by the pandemic. Our celebrations have traditionally been marked by mutual solidarity. “On this day, I wish that peace and respect reigns in every family,” said President Osmani.
