The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Donika Gërvalla, on the margins of the UN General Assembly met today with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, whom they thanked for the support of the Netherlands provided to our state-building process.
President Osmani reiterated the request for the support of the Netherlands on visa liberalization for the citizens of Kosovo. She pointed out that Kosovo has met all the criteria for visa liberalization and that Kosovo's institutions are committed to the implementation of the reforms in the field of rule of law and the creation of new jobs for young people in line with the platform of new institutions.
Kosovo has always been a constructive party in the dialogue process with Serbia, said President Osmani and according to her Serbia has not implemented the agreements, particularly the one on freedom of movement which is creating unnecessary tensions in the region.
In this context, President Osmani stressed that the epilogue of the dialogue with Serbia should be mutual recognition within the existing borders and in compliance with Kosovo's legal order.
