On the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kosovo, President Atifete Jahjaga has decorated a number of personalities, who have given extraordinary contribution for Kosovo, at different periods and in different fields.
Based on Article 84 item 28 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, Law no. 04/L-070 on the Conferment of Decorations by the President of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as based on Articles 3 and 4 of the Regulation on the Types of Decorations which the President of the Republic of Kosovo gives and their Awarding Procedures, the President of the Republic of Kosovo took the decision to decorate these personalities:
The persons decorated with the Order “Hero of Kosovo”:
The Order “Hero of Kosovo” is given to persons who have done acts of sacrifice and bravery for the freedom and independence of Kosovo.
