The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo Dr. Jakup Krasniqi announced today the decision that reads that the Kosovo parliamentary elections will be held on 13 February 2011.
The decision was taken pursuant to Article 84, item 3 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, on Article 4, item 3 of the Law on General Elections in Kosovo and in agreement with the political parties and the Central Elections Commission.
The decision advises to the Central Elections Commission to undertake all necessary actions to organize elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, in compliance with the decision and the legislation in force.
