Seventeen new prosecutors swore the oath today in front of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga , at a ceremony organised at the Presidential cabinet.
Appointment of these prosecutors was decreed by President Jahjaga on August 22nd, 2014.
Appointment was undertaken pursuant to the Article 84, Paragraph 1, Sections 4 and 18, Article 109, Paragraph 5, of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, Article 19 of the Law Nr. 03/L-224, on the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo, as well as the decisions of the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo.
