The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, visited the Humolli family in Lupç i Poshtëm and laid a wreath on the anniversary of the murder of Elfete Humolli.
President Osmani wrote:
At the age of only 16, Elfete Humolli stood up against the oppression and violence of the Serbian criminal regime, showing us that courage and love for the homeland are priceless.
On the anniversary of her murder, we visited the Humolli family in Lupç i Poshtëm, laid a wreath and honored the memory of her brother Mentor, who was martyred in Koshare in March 1999. The sister and brother united in the same holy cause for the freedom of the country.
Kosovo is free today, and the courage of Elfete and Mentor inspires us forever!
