The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, visited Defender Europe ’25 today – this year’s largest exercise of the US Army Europe, where Kosovo not only participates, but also has the honor of being the host.
President Osmani wrote:
Today, in the capacity of Supreme Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, I visited Defender Europe ’25 – this year’s largest exercise of the US Army Europe, where Kosovo not only participates, but also has the honor of being the host. Side by side with the armed forces of the United States of America and other NATO allies, our country is writing a new chapter of international military cooperation.
Just two days ago, in the USA, we discussed the common vision for the defense of Europe. Today, this vision is being implemented on the ground, on our soil, through Defender Europe ’25 – an exercise of extraordinary proportions that demonstrates the commitment to peace and security. Around 1,000 KSF members are directly engaged – professionals on a par with allies from the most powerful countries in the world. This is a clear message: Kosovo not only contributes, but is ready to be part of NATO.
