The Office of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, clarifies the public opinion that the article on the portal Telegrafi.com titled “Presidentja vet e 11-ta në Amerikë” (The President, herself and 10 others in America”) is completely untrue and based on insinuations.
President Jahjaga will not be with a super large delegation at the week of the General Assembly of the UN, but with a number, as usual, reasonable and small, of her political and supporting team. The team will have only 2 political advisors, which is the minimum considering the dynamic week during the General Assembly of the UN. The call upon anonymous and unconfirmed sources, speaking for telegrafi.com, distort the facts, misinform the public opinion,theatricalize nonexistent situations through the provision of false information which have no basis of truthfulness.
President Jahjaga throughout her mandate has shown the greatest care and respect in the expenditure of public money and once again we emphasize that for consecutive years the Office of the President has made savings annually by over 20 per cent of its budget which is about 1 million and 700 thousand euros. The Office of the President considers that such writings based on unverified sources, are intentional, false and completely denigrating.
