The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, signed today the decree on the opening of the Consular Mission of the Republic of Kosovo in Texas.
“This is an important step for our compatriots in Texas and the surrounding region, but also a recognition for our diaspora in the United States of America, which for decades has worked for, helped, lobbied and stood by Kosovo. During every chapter of our path, from resistance to state-building, the diaspora has played a key role,” said Acting President Haxhiu.
According to her, with this mission, Kosovo becomes closer to its citizens and more present in one of the most important economic and social centers of the United States.
