The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, received today Ms. Nafije Latifi, founder and director of the “JETA/VITA” Association, a woman who, with her strength, dedication and humanity, has become a symbol of hope for many women in Kosovo.
“Having defeated breast cancer three times, she has transformed her personal experience into a life mission, working for more than two decades to raise awareness among women about the importance of early detection, regular check-ups, and support for all those facing this disease,” said Acting President Haxhiu.
She expressed her gratitude to Ms. Latifi and the team of the “JETA/VITA” Association for their valuable contribution to the education and awareness of citizens, as well as for the psychological and social support they provide to women affected by breast cancer.
Acting President Haxhiu stated that our institutions and society should support such initiatives, which play an extremely important role in protecting the health and saving the lives of citizens.
