The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, posthumously awarded academician Rexhep Qosja with the title “Honour of the Republic of Kosovo”.
“Rexhep Qosja was one of the most prominent figures in Albanian literature, science and intellectual thought. Through his extensive body of work, his public engagement and his dedication to major national causes, he left a profound mark on Albanian culture and on our national consciousness”, stated Acting President Haxhiu.
According to her, this title represents a gesture of profound gratitude for a lifetime devoted to knowledge, freedom and national dignity.
“May his memory be eternal”, stated Acting President Haxhiu.
