The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, participated today in the commemorative ceremony of the Democracy and National Unity Day of the Republic of Türkiye, honouring the victims of July 15th and the citizens who came out to defend the constitutional order and elected institutions.
In her address, Acting President Haxhiu emphasized that political power stems from the vote of the citizens and that no force can replace their will.
She said that political clashes take place in parliament and in public debate, but never with weapons.
Acting President Haxhiu also recalled the close ties between Kosovo and Türkiye, built over the years through political support, institutional cooperation and numerous ties of our citizens.
Acting President President Haxhiu said that on this memorial day, we honor the memory of those who lost their lives defending the constitutional order of the Republic of Türkiye.
