The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, pursuant to the Constitution of Kosovo, has decided that tomorrow, Friday, April 24, 2026, is declared a Day of National Mourning in the Republic of Kosovo.
“In honour of the life and work of academician Rexhep Qosja, Friday, April 24, 2026, is declared a day of national mourning in the Republic of Kosovo. With this decision, our state expresses its respect and gratitude for a personality who gave Albanian culture wisdom, work and authority,” said Acting President Haxhiu.
