The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani departed to New York, where she will be holding meetings with world leaders and international organizations within the framework of the 78th session of the United Nations Assembly.
Madam President has been invited together with the First Gentleman Prindon Sadriu, to attend the official reception organized by the US President Joe Biden.
The First Gentleman has also been invited to attend a special reception, organized by the First Lady of the USA Jill Biden.
During this visit, Madam President, at meetings with her counterparts will be discussing the latest developments in Kosovo, as well as Kosovo’s goals for establishing relations with UN member states and its membership in international organizations. She will also participate in numerous activities and discussions organized by the allied countries.
In addition to meetings, Madam President will also hold talks at some of the most prestigious US universities and institutions.
On President Osmani agenda are also a series of joint activities with the Albanian diaspora in the US as well as with certain associations carrying out its activities in the USA.
