President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today representatives of three opposition parties represented at the Parliament of Kosovo-Vetëvendosje, AAK and Nisma- who, upon their request, presented to the Office of the President of Kosovo the petition organised by the parties of the opposition, on the issues of the demarcation of the state border between Kosovo and Montenegro and the agreement on the establishment of the association of the Serbian municipalities in Kosovo.
President Jahjaga emphasized that in compliance with her constitutional competencies and without prejudice, she has by now addressed the Constitutional Court to ask for interpretation of compliance of principles of Association with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
President Jahjaga reiterated her call for the whole political spectrum to respond to her invitation for political dialogue in order to overcome the situation created in the country.
