The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, accompanied by the Speaker of the Assembly Glauk Konjufca, was received by Deputy Prime Minister Donika Gërvalla in Dubovik, where they honored the memory of the sacred signs, which constitute the genesis of our struggle for national liberation.
President Osmani’s full post:
Together with Speaker Konjufca, we were received today by the daughter of the hero Jusuf Gërvalla, Deputy Prime Minister Donika Gërvalla, at their home in Dubovik, where we honored the memory of the sacred signs, which constitute the genesis of our struggle for national liberation.
Freedom also bears the names of Jusuf, Bardhosh and Kadri, while we keep their names engraved not only in our memory but also as a reference to how a whole life is put at the service of the motherland!
Jusuf was not only a special voice in literature, journalism and music, but above all the voice of our truth and freedom! He was born an artist, acted as a patriot and died as a hero. The interweaving of these three features transformed Jusuf into a polyhedral personality, an icon of the time and a patriot who projected the dream of freedom ahead of time.
