The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, met today with Dirk Schuebel, the European Union Special Representative for Kosovo and Head of the EU Office in Kosovo.
Acting President Haxhiu welcomed Mr. Schuebel to Kosovo and wished him success in his new mandate.
Current developments in the country, Kosovo’s European perspective, the reform process, and further cooperation with the European Union were discussed in the meeting.
“The Euro-Atlantic orientation of the Republic of Kosovo remains unwavering. Our country remains committed to the rule of law, reforms, and advancing the European integration process,” Acting President Haxhiu emphasized.
She underscored that Kosovo highly values its partnership with the European Union and expressed her readiness to further deepen cooperation during Mr. Schuebel’s mandate.
