The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, exercising her constitutional and legal powers, has decreed the promotion of three Kosovo Security Force colonels to brigadier general and their appointment to new duties.
The ceremony at the Presidency was also attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti; the Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci; and the Kosovo Security Force Commander, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari.
At this ceremony, Arife Halili, Astrit Haliti, and Mehmet Lladrovci were promoted to the rank of Brigadier General.
Brigadier General Arife Halili has been appointed to the post of Director of the Human Resources Directorate at the Ministry of Defense; Brigadier General Astrit Haliti has been appointed as Chief of Staff of the General Staff at the Kosovo Security Force; and Brigadier General Mehmet Lladrovci has been appointed Commander of the Land Forces of the Kosovo Security Force.
The Acting President congratulated the generals on their promotion and appointment to new duties, wishing them success in the responsibilities they assume and in their further service to the Kosovo Security Force and the Republic of Kosovo.
