The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, visited today the Mediterranean Village in Taranto, where our athletes are staying during the Mediterranean Games.
According to Acting President Haxhiu, the Village has a unique arrangement this time, with the athletes accommodated aboard two ships anchored in the port, the Aroya and the Romantika.
“During the visit, we had the opportunity to meet our athletes in person and speak with them about the competitions, their experience so far and the challenges awaiting them in the days ahead. It was a pleasure to witness the dedication and pride with which each of them represents Kosovo”, Acting President Haxhiu stated.
She further said that the competitions have already begun and that we will stand by our athletes, supporting them in every event.
“We hope that their hard work will be rewarded with the best possible results, that Kosovo’s name will be heard as often as possible and that we will return from Taranto with medals. Best of luck to Team Kosovo!”, Acting President Haxhiu said.
