The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, received today Admiral George M. Wikoff, Commander of the Allied Joint Forces Command in Naples.
“We discussed the security situation in Kosovo and the region, the cooperation of our institutions with KFOR and the importance of regular coordination with NATO”, said Acting President Haxhiu.
Acting President Haxhiu thanked Admiral Wikoff for his engagement, as well as for KFOR’s service in maintaining security and freedom of movement for all citizens of Kosovo.
“I emphasized that Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic orientation is irreversible and that NATO membership remains our strategic goal”, said Acting President Haxhiu.
The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, said that Kosovo will continue to strengthen cooperation with the Alliance and contribute to the security of the region.
