The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, and at the same time the Chairperson-in-Office of the OSCE, Ms. Elina Valtonen.
During the meeting, President Osmani thanked Finland for its continued support to the Republic of Kosovo, especially in the processes of state-building, democratization and strengthening of institutions.
In her capacity as the Chairperson-in-Office of the OSCE, Ms. Valtonen was informed by President Osmani on the latest developments in Kosovo, the commitment of the institutions to peace and stability, as well as the implementation of law and order.
President Osmani reiterated Kosovo’s commitment to close cooperation with the OSCE in the process of reforms, institutional transparency and human rights.
In this context, President Osmani emphasized that she expects the OSCE to continue to support Kosovo’s key priorities, including gender equality and the strengthening of human rights.
