The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the new United Nations Development Coordinator in Kosovo, Mr. Stephen O’Malley.
On this occasion, President Osmani congratulated Mr. O’Malley on his new tenure, wishing him success throughout his mandate.
President Osmani expressed her gratitude for the work of the United Nations Agencies present in the Republic of Kosovo, which, in cooperation with local institutions, have contributed to the achievement of common objectives. These objectives include projects to strengthen human rights, with special emphasis on persons with special needs, gender equality, the Women, Peace and Security Agenda, sustainable economic development, as well as other important areas.
