Thanks to the direct commitment of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, and with the support of the Qatar Fund for Development in cooperation with the Qatar Red Crescent, medical examinations have begun in Kosovo for war invalids, as part of a project that will provide them with advanced orthopaedic prostheses and specialized medical treatment.
This project represents more than medical aid—it is a concrete act of gratitude to those who have sacrificed their limbs for the freedom of Kosovo. They have not only lost a body part, but have made the most painful sacrifice in pursuit of the highest ideal: the freedom and independence of our country.
This initiative is a testament to the President’s unwavering commitment to standing by those who have given everything for our country, making the act of caring for them a national and moral priority.
President Osmani expressed deep gratitude to the Qatar Fund and the Qatar Red Crescent for this extraordinary support, emphasizing that the act of caring for war invalids is a moral, state and human obligation.
This cooperation also strengthens the friendly relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the State of Qatar, proving that international solidarity, supported by the leadership of the President, can bring tangible and dignified changes in the lives of those who defended freedom with the highest sacrifice.
