The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, who is currently on a working visit to Germany, met with the chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the German Bundestag, Michael Roth.
The latest political and security developments in Kosovo and beyond were discussed at the meeting.
President Osmani expressed her gratitude for the continuous support of MP Roth and in general of the German Bundestag for Kosovo’s aspirations to join international organizations and emphasized the importance of the role of the German state in this process.
“Germany has been a traditional ally of the people of Kosovo and we greatly appreciate this support in our efforts to strengthen our international presence and partnership” emphasized President Osmani.
President Osmani and Mr. Roth also discussed the Berlin Process, with President Osmani reiterating her full support of the agreements resulting from this process.
Part of the discussions during the meeting was also focused on the dialogue process with Serbia.
