Within the framework of consultations with parliamentary political entities for the constitution of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, the President of the Republic, Vjosa Osmani, received today in a meeting the chair of the Social Democratic Initiative, Mr. Fatmir Limaj.
This meeting comes on the eve of the end of the constitutional deadline set by the Constitutional Court’s Judgment in case KO124/25, which obliges MPs to constitute the Assembly within 30 days, specifically by July 26.
President Osmani emphasized that the implementation of this judgment is a clear constitutional obligation and emphasized the importance of all citizens’ representatives acting in a spirit of cooperation and trust, with the aim of reaching a solution as soon as possible for the constitution of the Assembly, in the interest of citizens and the democratic functioning of the state.
