Within the framework of the activities of the traditional manifestation “Ditët e Shqipes 2024”, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, yesterday awarded the “Hero of Kosovo” Order to the member of the 138th “Agim Ramadani” Brigade Francesco Giuseppe Bider, with motivation for bravery and sacrifice for the freedom of Kosovo.
President Osmani handed over the order to the brother of the hero, Mr. Alfredo Bider, accompanied by family members and former leaders of 138 “Agim Ramadani Brigade “and of the Battle of Koshare.
President Osmani emphasized that the hero Francesco Bider believed in the freedom of our people and the future of our children.
“It was the images of murders, burnings, the suffering of the displaced, the images of the refugee camps and the whole terrible reality that our people went through under the genocidal regime of Milosevic that pushed Francesco to join the KLA in the fight for the liberation of Kosovo, where he also fell a martyr”, said President Osmani.
According to President Osmani, all members of the KLA were united by the cause of freedom and justice against tyranny, genocide and oppression
