The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said at the Aspen Institute in Berlin that Kosovo’s future is in NATO and the European Union. According to President Osmani, this is not just an unwavering aspiration of ours but a strategic interest of the entire region and of the Euro-Atlantic alliance itself.
President Osmani wrote:
Kosovo’s future is rooted in democracy, built with friends, and guided by Euro-Atlantic values.
At the Aspen Institute in Berlin, I spoke about our Kosovo as a state that, at the very core of its future building, has embraced reform and its implementation as the sole path toward development and democratic consolidation.
But one thing remains unwavering: Kosovo’s future is in NATO and the European Union. This is not just our unwavering aspiration but a strategic interest of the entire region and of the Euro-Atlantic alliance itself.
