The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani has received a letter from the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, in which she has congratulated her on her position and stressed that it is very encouraging when a woman serves in the position of the President.
Madam Von Der Leyen, in the letter, has further written that the credible EU perspective for the Western Balkans remains a priority of the European Commission, emphasizing the expectations for a cooperation in deepening relations with the EU. She also stressed the importance of reforms and the dialogue process.
Further, Mrs. Von Der Leyen has stressed the importance of visa liberalization for the citizens of Kosovo, confirming the commitment of the European Commission for advocacy towards a positive decision by the EU on visa liberalization for the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
