Washington, February 26th 2020 – President of the Republic of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi, during his visit to the United States of America met with Congressman Eliot Engel, Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.
“Kosovo and the United States of America enjoy a deep friendship, a special connection which shall last for the eternity. You, through your three decade long engagement, are one of those who built this special relationship,” said President Thaçi.
President Thaçi at the meeting also stated that Kosovo is engaged in building of the peace and stability in the whole western Balkans, and has for its 12 years as a state achieved great advances.
