The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani and the First Gentleman Mr. Prindon Sadriu, have been invited along with counterparts from different countries of the world to attend the funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II.
They have been invited to attend a reception on Sunday hosted by King Charles III for the heads of state and their spouses from around the world who will be present at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom who passed away on September 8th. On Monday, however, they will be present at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, and then at the reception organized by the Foreign Affairs Secretary of the United Kingdom, James Cleverly.
During her stay in London, President Osmani will also meet with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the British Parliament, Sir Lindsay Hoyle.
In her condolence message on the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II, President Osmani described the longest-lived monarch in the history of the United Kingdom as an inspiration for the generations to come, and while comforting the people of the United Kingdom, emphasized that she has come to the aid of Kosovo in its darkest days.
