The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today at a meeting the Vice President of Palau and at the same time Minister of Justice, J. Uduch Sengebau Senior.
According to President Osmani, this meeting with Vice-President Sengebau Senior is in favor of confirming the friendly relations between the two countries and pledging to further expand them.
The vice president of Palau Mrs. Sengebau Senior will be one of the participants of the International Forum for Women, Peace and Security, for attendance at which President Osmani expressed her gratitude. According to President Osmani, the empowerment of women is a national and a global agenda, simultaneously. In this context, President Osmani emphasized that the economic empowerment of women has a decisive role in advancing their position. Madam President focused on the first edition of the Forum for Women, Peace and Security, which according to her is a good opportunity to increase awareness of the need to recognize and promote the abilities of women and girls to contribute essentially in peace and security processes.
According to President Osmani, the visit of Mrs. Sengebau Senior is a demonstration of good bilateral relations and this context she thanked Palau for the continuous support in the direction of consolidating and strengthening the international position of Kosovo.
At the meeting with the vice President Senior, President Osmani stated that relations with Palau have the potential for expansion in many areas of common interest, such as inter-parliamentary cooperation, trade, tourism and culture.
