The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, together with the presidents of the states of the region, will participate at the 11th meeting of the Brdo-Brijuni process.
The topics to be discussed at this meeting include the perspective of European integration for the aspiring countries of the Western Balkans which fulfil the conditions for integration and which align policies with those of the European Union, overcoming joint challenges occurring as a result of Russia’s unprovoked aggression on Ukraine, including the energy crisis and food security; as well as commitment to democracy, peace and dialogue.
President Osmani will present the positions of the Republic of Kosovo regarding the issues that will be addressed in this process, including the call for the liberalization of visas for the citizens of Kosovo, as well as the advancement of the Euro-Atlantic path of our country.
The Brdo-Brijuni Process meeting will be held in Brdo near Kranj in Slovenia, under the joint leadership of the President of Slovenia Borut Pahor and the President of Croatia Zoran Milanović.
