The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu highly praised the
judoka Distria Krasniqi, who was declared European champion for the first time.

Golden Distria!
Today, Distria Krasniqi was declared European champion for the first time. Our
golden judokas – golden with medals and spirit are raising our Republic higher and
higher. It can not be otherwise! These achievements of them are a clear reflection of
hard work, commitment to a mission with a clear purpose, and consistency in this
regard.
I started my first day as President with Distria and our fantastic judokas. That day I
realized once again that each of these girls are sparks and that they will never stop
shining.
Thank you for the honor you are doing to us all, for the honor you are doing to our
Republic.
