The inauguration of the Memorial Complex of Martyrs of the Istog municipality took place under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, on the occasion of the Liberation Day.
President Osmani stated that this memorial in Vrellë, Istog, is a place of remembrance, but also the foundation of our state and a symbol of sacrifice that is never forgotten
President Osmani wrote:
On the Liberation Day of Istog, we bowed with respect to the martyrs of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the most worthy sons and daughters of our nation, who sacrificed themselves for the freedom we enjoy today.
