The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received in a meeting the Minister of Public Administration and at the same time the leader of the Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo, Mr. Mahir Yagcilar, as well as a delegation of the Organizational Council for the marking of the Memorial Day of the Turkish Community in Kosovo.
President Jahjaga congratulating the Turkish community for the Memorial Day, said that this community shows a good example of integration in the institutions and society of Kosovo and is dedicated to the construction of a democratic country, together with all other communities in the country. President Jahjaga said that Kosovo is a state of all citizens equally, without discrimination, who share the responsibilities and obligations to develop and advance it and to make it an equal part of the international community.
Minister Yagcilar thanked President Jahjaga for the wishes and the support she gives to the Turkish community in Kosovo and informed her about all the activities that have begun to mark the Turkish Memorial Day in Kosovo.
