The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, the US Ambassador in Kosovo, Greg Delawie, and the Director of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in Kosovo, James Hope, signed today an agreement on grant development objectives between the US and the Republic of Kosovo.
The document includes an assistance of the US Government, in the amount of $ 25 million, to support the activities of USAID in Kosovo, oriented in three fields: rule of law and governance, activities to increase investment and employment in the private sector, and programs for the improvement of the human capital in Kosovo.
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga called the support of the Government of the United States, through USAID, very important as a testimony for the continued support of the US for the development of the Republic of Kosovo in the field of rule of law and economics.
