The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani welcomed the agreement reached with Pfizer for the purchase of over one million and two hundred and thirteen thousand vaccines.
President Osmani said that by providing this significant amount of vaccines we will be able to protect the health of our citizens, as well as pave the way to the safe opening of the economy.

Today Kosovo reached an agreement with Pfizer for the purchase of over one million and two hundred and thirteen thousand vaccines. Despite the initial challenges and after an extraordinary commitment of Kosovo institutions, we will have sufficient quantities of vaccines to commence with mass vaccination of our citizens.
I particularly commend the Ministry of Health on this important achievement. By providing this significant amount of vaccines, we will be able to protect the health of our citizens, as well as pave the way to the safe opening of the economy.
All through till the very end of the mass vaccination process, I call upon all of you to look after yourself and your loved ones. Let us trust one another. Let us be confident that we will overcome this serious challenge together!
