The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani on the first day of her stay in Turkey visited the “Baykar” Drone Manufacturing Plant and held meetings with the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.
At the Baykar Drone Manufacturing Plant, President Osmani was briefed on achievements in the field of technological advancement and innovation related to the defense and security sector. At the meeting with the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) and the Turkish Chamber of Commerce, President Osmani invited Turkish businesses to invest in Kosovo mentioning the excellent environment, legal infrastructure that protects businesses and the extraordinary human capital that our country possesses.
“We aim at sustainable investments in all sectors, and in particular in the field of food processing industry, agriculture, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), renewable energy, tourism, textiles, plastics, wood or metal,” said President Osmani.
At the meeting with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, President Osmani stated that there is great space to explore opportunities for Kosovar businesses to enter the Turkish market and vice versa.
“I am here to convey the message that Kosovo is an open market that you are looking for in your forthcoming large and serious investments,” said President Osmani.
