Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, today received the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Jean-François Huchet.
On this occasion, Acting President Haxhiu welcomed Ambassador Jean-François Huchet to Kosovo and wished him every success in his diplomatic mission, expressing her conviction that, during his mandate, the relations between our two countries will be further strengthened.
“Kosovo highly values France’s friendship and support, both during the war and throughout the years of state-building. Today, our relations are founded on broad cooperation in the political, economic, security, education and cultural fields,” Acting President Haxhiu emphasized.
Opportunities to further expand this cooperation were also addressed at the meeting, particularly following the recent agreements between Kosovo and France, which create new opportunities for cooperation.
“I wished Ambassador Huchet a successful mandate and assured him of my full commitment to further strengthening the partnership between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of France,” Acting President Haxhiu said.
