Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, said that today we mark Constitution Day, recalling April 9, 2008, the day when our state took its full legal and political shape.
“Since that day, the Constitution has been the foundation upon which the Republic of Kosovo is based and functions. It defines the constitutional order, guarantees fundamental rights and freedoms and establishes the principles that guide our institutions,” said Acting President Haxhiu.
She further stated that commitment to the Constitution remains a prerequisite for stability, development and democratic consolidation.
