The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, Niko Peleshi, whom she congratulated on assuming office, expressing her readiness for close and continuous cooperation.
President Osmani emphasized that the relations between Kosovo and Albania are fraternal and strategic, built on strong historical, national and state foundations. In this context, President Osmani thanked Albania for its continued support for the international consolidation of Kosovo and in every important diplomatic process, underlining the importance of regular political and diplomatic coordination at all levels.
Both interlocutors emphasized that strengthening the fraternal partnership between Kosovo and Albania remains essential for advancing common interests and building a common future in the Euro-Atlantic family.
