Between January 11th and 12th, 1984, at the Kodra e Trimave in Prishtina, patriots Rexhep Mala and Nuhi Berisha fell heroically in a confrontation with the forces of the Serbian regime. Two boys who knew no fear and gave everything for the freedom of Kosovo.
As the founders of the Student Committee, they preceded the Student Spring of 1981, being an early sign of the great endeavor for liberation. Their heroic fall marked the beginning of a contribution that will forever remain part of history for the freedom of Kosovo.
Rexhep Mala and Nuhi Berisha live in all of us who hold the homeland in our hearts, in every step that Kosovo takes and are proof that their courage and sacrifice are our respect and eternal memory.
