The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, visited Gjakova and Malisheva today to closely observe the situation after the floods and to see the needs of the evacuated citizens.
President Osmani wrote:
Today we visited Gjakova and Malisheva to closely observe the situation after the floods and to see the needs of the evacuated citizens
We met with the mayors of these two municipalities, Ardian Gjini and Ekrem Kastrati, as well as some of the affected families, to ensure that no family is left without the necessary support.
These situations remind us of how important solidarity and cooperation are when citizens face difficulties like this.
A special gratitude goes to the emergency teams, local and central, the Emergency Management Agency, firefighters and police, who were on duty, protecting the lives and property of citizens. As always, the KSF is on standby in case of need.
Together we can overcome the challenges!
