Thanks to the commitment of the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, and the continued support of our regular donor, the “Khalifa Foundation”, the new laboratory was inaugurated yesterday at the “Sheika Fatima” Hospital.
Equipped with modern technology, this laboratory will enable this public healthcare institution to conduct the majority of analyses within the pediatric hospital itself. This will directly contribute to improving efficiency, quality and access to more advanced laboratory services, with particular emphasis on children, who are the most sensitive and important beneficiaries of such investments.
A considerable portion of the new equipment will be used in the neonatology ward, where medical care is crucial for the lives of newborns and mothers.
President Osmani expressed her deep gratitude to the people of the United Arab Emirates and, in particular, to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi for her valuable contribution and unremitting cooperation in improving the healthcare system in Kosovo.
